Pro-Fractional is a fast, comfortable procedure which can be performed at Dr. Massoudi’s office. The procedure normally takes 15-60 minutes depending on the condition and the size of the area treated. A numbing cream may be applied by Dr. Massoudi in advance in order to aid your comfort during the procedure.

How many Pro-Fractional treatments will I need?

Pro-Fractional is typically done in a series of 1–5 treatments, spaced 3-6 weeks apart, depending on your needs. Dr. Massoudi will put together a personalized treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire. What should I expect after treatment?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience a mild redness, resembling a light sunburn sensation. Complete healing takes only about 1–3 days and most patients can get back to work and apply makeup within 1-2 days after the treatment.

What special after-treatment care will I need?

It is important to follow Dr. Massoudi’s instructions which may include some skin care products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be more sensitive to ultra-violet light after the procedure, so you must avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. You should always use some level of sun protection to avoid sun damage and premature aging of your skin.
